Get your new puppy off to the right start! Over six weeks we'll work together on foundational manners such as sit, down, leaving things alone, polite greetings, and coming when called, as well as critical life skills such as being comfortable in a crate and alone time.

We'll also address managing nipping and chewing, house-training success, body-handling, socialization (learning the world is a safe and fun place), and more.

For pups up to 16 weeks.

My Essential Manners training program is the foundation for a happy, harmonious life for you and your dog.

It’s ideal for dogs over 16 weeks who have never had training or who need a refresher.

Over five weeks we'll work together on new and refreshed manners such as sit, down, a supercharged recall, leaving things alone, polite greetings, going to and staying on her place, and other training geared to your dog's needs.

These behaviors can be frightening and frustrating for us as well as seem unfixable. Rest assured, we can work together to modify your dog's behavior by changing how she feels about things in her world. 

We start with an Initial In-Person Consultation where we discuss your dog’s behavior and assess safety and management in your home. After we meet I‘ll follow up with appropriate resources and a customized training plan.

Initial consultation: $175

I can help you and your dog with one or more behavior issues such as:

• Housetraining lapses
• Polite greetings (not jumping on people)
• Counter-surfing
• Loose leash walking
• Coming when called

Training classes are a budget-friendly option for dog- and people-friendly dogs.

Worried that a baby means finding a new home for your dog? Let's meet.

I offer specialized training that supports families with dogs who are expecting babies, or who currently have babies and/or toddlers.

This session is also perfect for grandparents, extended family, and family friends who have dogs and babies/toddlers in their lives.

Does your dog panic when you go out of the house, have accidents, vocalize endlessly, or destroy furnishings? 

Separation anxiety is a canine panic disorder affecting up to 20% of dogs, but the good news is that it is treatable.

This session is perfect before you bring your puppy or dog home, or for any puppy or dog who has been in the home for less than a month.

We'll discuss getting off on the right paw with the dog gear and equipment, house-training, chew-training, introducing your new buddy to friends, and more.

90-minute session: $250
