Payment plans

All training packages (except group classes) are billed using no-fee, zero interest payment plans through my scheduling software, Acuity.

Thank you for adopting! Start by reaching out to the organization where you adopted your dog. Many have training resources available to their adopters. If additional support is needed, please have the organization submit a case request to the Humane Alliance of Rescue Trainers (HART) on your behalf.

The Humane Alliance of Rescue Trainers is a network of rewards-based training professionals who volunteer to provide free behavior consulting for dog guardians through their animal rescue organizations.

Here is just some of what my one-hour private training or class fee covers:

The time to prep for each session
The time to write follow-up notes and homework for each session
Travel time to the session
Training gear and treats for lessons
Renting space for classes

The hourly fee also covers:

Continuing education: workshops, seminars, books, conferences (the best professionals keep their knowledge current)
Business overhead: state business license, liability insurance, marketing materials, professional services such as attorneys and accountants, professional memberships, taxes, credit card processing fees
Office supplies, software, and equipment (yes, dog trainers need computers, printers, pens, and paper!)

The net income after expenses supports my household.
